HEALTHY CHOICE dishes must meet the following criteria:
o Food is not fried or breaded.
o Food does not have excessive sodium per serving. (1/2 tsp or less per serving)
o Food is cooked with healthier fats (i.e. olive, coconut, grape seed) and without trans fats. Trans fats include: lard, vegetable shortening and oils that are solid at room temperature.
o A low or no calorie sweetener is used if required in your recipe.
INTERNATIONAL dishes are not considered typical American Fare and whose recipe originated outside of the United States.
